2014 Atlanta Falcons ticket info

2014 Atlanta falcons tickets are trying to rebound from a fall. A hard fall. The Falcons finished 2012 at 13-3 and in the playoffs with a top seed in the NFC. Though that season ended in disappointment, Atlanta was poised to challenge again in 2013. Unfortunately for Falcons ticket holder, the wheels fell off the wagon and Atlanta landed hard at 4-12. The basis of that 2012 team remains in Atlanta though, and the 2014 NFL season promises another reversal, this one for the better.

The Falcons demise in 2013 centered chiefly around injuries and missing elements. The offensive line suffered from inexperience and a lack of continuity. Julio Jones went down for the season. Steven Jackson couldn’t get it going. The good news for 2014 is that Julio Jones is back from a foot injury and should be at full strength this year. Head Coach Mike Smith made big changes on his staff, bringing in new faces to coach both the offensive and defensive lines. The NFL draft was used to address both these issues.

To begin with, protecting Matt Ryan, who was sacked early and often, became a top priority. Falcons ticket holders will be glad to know that their #1 pick, Jake Mathews, will be inserted immediately. Mathews is tagged as the best offensive line prospect in the country, a sure fire player that will provide stability and protection for years to come. The defensive side of the ball got 2nd Rounder Ra’Shede Hageman, defensive lineman out of Minnesota. Hageman joins free agents Tyson Jackson and Paul Soliai in bolstering the Falcons D-Line for 2014. At running back, the Falcons added Devonta Freeman to the mix, hoping young legs get places the old ones won’t.  The Atlanta Falcons have done an excellent job in sprinkling young talent in with the veterans and doing it in key areas. When you have a less than optional season, finding and fixing the weak spots, especially on a team with good talent, provides for a quick turnaround.

2014 Falcons tickets have plenty to offer any NFL fan. The Georgia Dome will be rocking when the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers come to town. In addition to these NFC South rivals, the Falcons will also play host to the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, as well as the Cleveland Browns (Will Manziel be starting by November?) and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Did we mention the Falcons open with the Saints and close at home with the Panthers? Do you have your Falcons tickets yet?

Atlanta Falcons Tickets

Cheap Atlanta Falcons tickets are hard to come by, but that shouldn’t be a surprise. After reaching the NFC Championship Game last season, the Falcons are once again a top-tier Super Bowl contender. And they’ve made a serious upgrade at running back.

Falcon’s ticket holders will be treated this season to one of the premier bulldozers of modern-day NFL in the magnificent Steven Jackson. Despite lackluster talent around him, Jackson emerged as one of the top backs in the game by utilizing a bruising running style that has produced eight consecutive 1,000-yard seasons for the St. Louis Rams.

The Falcons snatched him up in the offseason and will insert him into an offense that is already one of the NFL’s most potent attacks. Jackson will team-up with quarterback Matt Ryan, hall-of-fame tight end Tony Gonzalez, and wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White. This team will put up points with an exciting brand of football in the always-raucous Georgia Dome.

Ryan has blossomed into one of the top five quarterbacks in the NFL. He has shown an uncanny ability to lead game-winning drives and has become a fan favorite throughout Atlanta and the Southeast.

He’s got three deadly targets in Gonzales, Jones and White. Gonzalez, considered one of the game’s all-time greats at his position, and elected to come back for one more run. It seems unlikely he would have done that if he didn’t believe there was some Super Bowl magic in the Atlanta Falcons tickets this season.

The tandem of White and Jones is arguably the best in the game. Jones, out of Alabama, enters his third season in the league with giant expectations. Falcons ticket holders could very well seem him emerge as the game’s best big-play target.

White is the most underrated pass-catcher in the league. He’s also one of the most consistent. Very quietly, he’s been putting up hall-of-fame numbers.

The addition of Jackson gives Atlanta Falcons tickets a little extra pop this season. And a trip to the Super Bowl would be the ultimate reward for longtime Falcons ticket holders. All the ingredients are in place for that to happen. See you at the Georgia Dome.

2008 Atlanta Falcons Tickets

In 2008, Atlanta Falcons tickets begin the long road back. Back from the agony of watching Michael Vick take the fall, back from watching Bobby Petrino cut and run, and back from the bottom of the NFC South. The road is long and sweeping changes are being made even as you read this. With a new coach, and a young quarterback possessing all the right tools, the Georgia Dome will soon be seeing renewed interest in Atlanta Falcons tickets.

2007 Falcons Tickets – The Longest Season

Heading into the 2007 NFL season Atlanta Falcons fans, and the team itself, were looking for a playoff season. Michael Vick, often criticized for being more of a runner than a passer, was certain to improve under the tutelage of Bobby Petrino, architect of the Louisville Cardinals record-breaking offense. The feeling was Vick’s scrambling talents, combined with a high-octane passing game and a league leading ground attack, was a sure ticket to the NFL Playoffs and maybe even a Super Bowl. It all came crashing down with the arrest and conviction of Vick for dogfighting charges. Instead of Michael Vick and a Super Bowl Falcons ticket holders got Joey Harrington and a 4-12 season.

2008 Falcons Tickets – The Road Back

Being abandoned by Bobby Petrino, the Atlanta Falcons went coach hunting for the second time in two seasons. After weeks of interviews, Atlanta decided on Mike Smith, who built the Jacksonville Jaguars league-leading defense and coached linebackers for the Super Bowl Champion Ravens. Obviously displeased with the quarterback position, Smith won over Falcons fans with Matt Ryan of Boston College as his first draft choice. If Ryan can live up to expectations, the Georgia Dome won’t remember their last quarterback. While some help along the offensive line was left to free agency, Smith has laid the cornerstone for future success in a key position.

Falcons Tickets and the NFC South

The Atlanta Falcons will be welcoming some formidable teams to the Georgia Dome. The New Orleans Saints are only two years removed from the NFC Championship Game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were an NFL Playoff team last year and if recent history repeats itself the Carolina Panthers should be riding an up year. Atlanta will also welcome the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions to the Georgia Dome. It all adds up to some great NFL football with Atlanta Falcons tickets.

Atlanta Falcons Tickets – 10 Reasons You Have to Have Them

5) Alge Crumpler – In an off year, Crumpler notched almost 800 yards and led the Falcon with 56 catches. He’ll shine in the new offense.
6) Jamaal Anderson – Falcons ticket holders will enjoy the sight of Jamaal Anderson, their #1 Draft Pick, lining up alongside a healthy John Abraham, giving Atlanta the bookends on which to base a pass rush.

THIS WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS(7-8) AT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (9-6)
4:15 p.m., Sunday
Lincoln Financial Field

Once again the Falcons are questioning Michael Vick. Atlanta is burning with questions. Is Mora a whiny loser? Is Vick anything more than a freak of nature and incapable of providing a passing game? Why is the Atlanta running game faltering when it’s needed the most? This is a franchise with no clear direction or leadership. Playing a red hot Eagles team isn’t going to help the situation either. But fortunately, Michael Vick is capable of being the most exciting player in the NFL. He’ll have to be if Atlanta wants to finish the season with a big upset.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles28, Atlanta Falcons 24
(Last Week: 9-7/Season: 125-74)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Go with Michael Vick. Hopefully he can put together a season ending show that will keep him under center in Atlanta.

ABCTickets.com is here to take you all the way to the playoffs with our large inventory of NFL football tickets, our expert predictions and our fantasy football tickets to victory.

When will Michael Vick finally live up to his billing and punch the Atlanta Falcons' ticket to the Super Bowl? That's the No. 1 question being asked in the ATL. Time after time, Vick has shown signs of greatness. But time after time, an injury or a sloppy performance has cost the Falcons a shot at the NFL limelight. Now in his sixth season, Vick has the weapons around him to finally reach his immense potential. That's bad news for the rest of the NFL. But it's great news for football fans with Atlanta Falcons tickets.

The No. 1 overall pick in 2001, Vick has done some incredible things in a Falcons uniform. He was the first quarterback ever to go into Green Bay's vaunted Lambeau Field and defeat the Packers in the playoffs. A former Virginia Tech Hokie star, Vick is already amongst the all-time leaders in rushing yards by a quarterback, and his arm strength has never been questioned. His ability to move the ball through the air with consistency has been an issue for Vick, though.

Head coach Jim Mora is hoping that changes in the 2006 NFL season. With a pair of dynamic young receivers in Roddy White and Michael Jenkins, Mora believes the Falcons will be able to stretch the field vertically. Having All-Pro tight end Algie Crumpler doesn’t hurt, either. But an improved offense is not the only reason Atlanta Falcons tickets are moving fast. Check out the Falcons upgraded defense.

In one of the biggest acquisitions of the NFL off-season, the Falcons snagged All-Pro defender Jonathon Abraham away from the New York Jets. With more than 50 sacks in only 73 games, the former South Carolina Gamecock is a devastating pass rusher, which is exactly what the Falcon defense needed.  Atlanta continued to bolster its defense in the draft, picking up another Virginia Tech Hokie in cornerback Jimmy Williams in the second round. Considered a steal by many, Williams was a fierce hitter and a ball hawk at Virginia Tech. He will join All-Pro corner D'Angelo Hall to form one of the top combinations in the NFL.

Even the gigantic Georgia Dome may not be able to contain the kind of thrilling shows the Falcons will be putting on this year. Vick will be doing his vanishing act, alluding would-be tacklers at the drop of a hat. And the Falcon defense is filled with “Dirty Birds” once again. Make your plans to be at the show by reserving your Atlanta Falcons tickets today.
THIS PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
CAROLINA PANTHERS (6-8) AT ATLANTA FALCONS (7-7) TICKETS
1 p.m.
The Georgia Dome

Michael Vick can set all the records in the world but until his team can win he'll always be considered a freak and not a winning NFL quarterback. The Falcons folded their tents last Saturday against Dallas but it was mostly defensive failures to blame. The Falcons weak playoff hopes depend on a win here and some help on the outside. But the Panthers just look plain bad. They got blasted by Pittsburgh last Sunday and show little signs of life. That lethargy should be the Falcons ticket to a win if head coach Jim Mora can just keep his mouth shut during the week and not undercut his team with stupid radio interviews.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 24, Carolina Panthers 17
(Last Week: 9-7/Season 116-67)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Michael Vick should be able to do some damage against a pathetic looking Panther defense that's never stepped up after losing some key players.

PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
DALLAS COWBOYS (8-5) AT ATLANTA FALCONS (7-6) TICKETS
8 pm, Saturday
The Georgia Dome

Michael Vick and the Atlanta Falcons are battling for their lives. Their NFL Playoff lives. The Falcons renewed their acquaintance with winning last week against the hapless Buccaneers. Unfortunately, they’re getting a Dallas team coming off a 42-17 humiliation by the Saints on national TV. Bill Parcells, not a happy camper on his best day, is going to be in a really rotten mood this week. The bright side is that the Sainst let the rest of the NFL know how to deal with Tony Romo. They also tipped off the Falcons that the Cowboys are susceptible to the run. We’re expecting a hard fought game as the season winds down with both teams fighting for post-season position.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 24, Dallas Cowboys 20
(Last Week: 9-7/Season 116-67)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: With Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood both ailing, look for Vick to carry the Falcons on his legs. Stay away from Atlanta’s receivers, none of whom could catch a cold.

PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS (6-6) TICKETS
ATLANTA FALCONS (6-6) AT TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (3-9) TICKETS
1:00 pm, Sunday
Raymond James Stadium

Love him or hate him, Atlanta QB Michael Vick is one of the most exciting players in the NFL. He's fully capable of carrying the entire Falcons team to victory using just his fast feet and quick moves. When he takes off around the corner of the line, you know he's capable of getting in the end no matter where the line of scrimmage is. This week they take on their NFC South division rivals Buccaneers in Tampa, who continue to struggle. This is a must win for the Falcons to stay in the playoff hunt, so expect big things from Vick and company.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 24, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10
(Last Week: 11-5/Season 118-65)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: QB Michael Vick's rushing yards make him a great fantasy starter. Passing TDs are bonus points.

PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
ATLANTA FALCONS (5-6) TICKETS AT WASHINGTON REDSKINS (4-7)
1 p.m., Sunday
FedEx Field

The Atlanta Falcons have hit hard times. They’re on a 4-game losing streak, the coach’s father is questioning Michael Vick’s ability to win, and Vick himself is endearing fans with his traditional two finger salute. The Falcons better buck it up though. Heading into FedEx Field they find themselves facing a Redskins team that just beat the NFC South leading Carolina Panthers. And the Skins did it with a young QB still wet behind the ears. More noteably, the Washington defense held Steve Smith to just 5 catches. Is Michael Vick the most exciting player in pro football or a “coach killer?” This game against Washington and the remaining games in the season will tell.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 21, Washington Redskins 17
(Last Week: 10-6/Season 107-60)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: We think the erratic Vick will be on the upswing this week. At least in the running game. Why throw the ball when your receivers can’t catch it?(Last week: Warrick Dunn — 19 carries, 52 yards, 1 TD)

PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (6-4) AT ATLANTA FALCONS (5-5) TICKETS
1 p.m., Sunday
Georgia Dome

The Falcons are sick birds. Michael Vick has dropped off in the passing game, they can't get their running game going, and the defense looks like an emergency room. Atlanta has lost three in a row and the Saints are coming in mad as hornets after two losses in which they turned the ball over seven times. Either Sean Payton will get it fixed this week (and we think he will) or the Saints season is over. But Payton's problems can be fixed. Jim Mora's problems are a little tougher. Injuries have hit this team hard and that won't just go away. Vick, while still dangerous, is showing ever increasing signs of mediocrity and even worse, frustration. He's forcing the ball and getting careless when he runs.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: New Orleans Saints 35, Atlanta Falcons 21
(Last Week: 9-7/Season 91-54)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Atlanta running back Warrick Dunn should get plenty of action as Mora tries to keep a hot Drew Brees off the field (Last week: Dunn - 15 carries, 52 yards)

PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
ATLANTA FALCONS (5-4) TICKETS AT BALTIMORE RAVENS (7-2)
1 p.m., Sunday
M & T Bank Stadium

For the Atlanta Falcons, success is hard to handle. After Michael Vick caught fire and looked unstoppable two weeks ago, the Falcons quarterback has now come down to earth. The Falcons took it on the chin in Week 10, dropping a 17-13 heartbreaker to the lowly Cleveland Browns. That’s two weeks in a row the Falcons have dropped games to some of the NFL’s weakest teams. Vick threw two interceptions and gave up a fumble late in the game to end any hope of a comeback. It certainly won’t get any easier in M & T Bank Stadium against the Ravens. They’re on a hot streak since Brian Billick took over the offense. But Michael Vick, who tends to be streaky, may once again be torching the defense. Who knows with the schizo Falcons?

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 28, Atlanta Falcons 20

PAST WEEK'S ATLANTA FALCONS TICKETS
ATLANTA FALCONS (5-2) AT DETROIT LIONS(1-6) TICKETS
1 p.m., Sunday
Ford Field

The falcons are finally throwing the ball and Michael Vick looks like a Pro Bowl quarterback doing it. Honestly, if Vick stays this sharp the Falcons will be almost impossible to beat. In the course of two weeks the Falcons have gone from one dimensional to phenomenal. While Detroit has been playing good football, they don’t have the weapons to keep up with a Falcons team as hot as this one. Barring a complete meltdown the Falcons should have a cakewalk and could take the lead in the NFC South if the Saints struggle against Tampa Bay. br>
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Atlanta Falcons 28, Detroit Lions 17

CLEVLAND BROWNS (2-6) AT ATLANTA FALCONS (5-3) TICKETS
1 p.m., Sunday

The Falcons took a step in the wrong direction in last week’s loss in Detroit. Michael Vick and company will be looking to get right back on track this week against an improved Cleveland squad. Vick is still battling to find some consistency. One week he looks like the player that everyone expected him to be; the next he falls back into the same old bad habits. Which Vick will show up this week against the Browns? The real one.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Atlanta 31, Cleveland 17

The Bengals got back to their winning ways with a late game surge against Carolina last week. The Falcons put on a show against the Steelers with Michael Vick throwing for four touchdows. Yes, we said THROWING. It looks like Atlanta has decided to air things out. The Bengals have decided that Chad Johnson should be a major part of their offense. It all adds up to one of this week's best NFL contests in Paul Brown Stadium. br>

Atlanta Falcons tickets may be the hottest tickets in the NFC South. The Falcons have blown away the two pre-season division favorites in back to back games. Michael Vick is running and gunning and Warrick Dunn looks unstoppable. But the Saints have won two in a row and this is an intense a rivalry as you’ll see in the NFL. Considering the hype surrounding this game, with U2 and Green Day welcoming the re-opening of the Superdome, this Monday night match up may be the Falcons ticket to supremacy in the NFC South.
