NEW YORK YANKEES TICKETS

The nice thing about being a New York Yankees fan is that every offseason comes with a seemingly limitless ability to improve via free agency. Need a new ace? Japanese sensation Masahiro Tanaka okay with everyone? Not happy with your catcher? No problem! Say hello to perennial All-Star Brian McCann. Now how about stealing the leadoff hitter from the best team in the majors (who also happens to be your 100-year rival)? We can do that. Make way for Jacoby Ellsbury everyone.
The tricky part about being a New York Yankees fan is not knowing how all those amazing pieces are going to come together over the course of a 162-game season. Is Tanaka going to produce on this side of the planet? Is McCann on the downside of his career? Does the Ellsbury magic happen outside of Fenway with all those bats behind him?
So this year Yankee Stadium tickets come with the added excitement of watching a chemistry experiment in action. This probably isn't the way that Derek Jeter envisioned his swan song would go. With the departure of Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte and Robinson Cano There aren't even many familiar faces around from his most recent title in 2009. But the good news for Jeter is that this may be one of his most talented teams on paper. McCann and Ellsbury are just part of the additions. CF Carlos Beltran, 3B Kelly Johnson and 2B Brian Roberts all arrive as proven offensive commodities.
Much of this season depends on the production of Tanaka and CC Sabathia. The Yankees need an ace to face off against hurlers like David Price and Jon Lackey in the fall. Tanaka is coming off a season in Japan where he strung together 21 straight wins...25 if you count the four wins from his 2012 campaign. The Yankees beat out several other teams to acquire his rights, and he looks like a can't-miss prospect. Sabathia muddled to a 14-13 record last season for New York - his lowest win total since 2006. Reports are that he's in terrific shape this spring, and he's looked sharp thus far. But the Yankees need to see a return to his 19-win 2011 form.
Yankee fans are hoping to see one last push to the World Series for Jeter. And the team has the talent to get there. A resurgent Sabathia and a host of talented free agents have what it takes to send The Captain out on top.

Every year a New York Yankees ticket offers its holder the rare chance to watch America's greatest sports franchise in action. But 2013 Yankees tickets come with something even rarer -- the chance to watch New York play the role of underdog.

Of course this is the New York Yankees. They are never truly an underdog. But in the American League East is stacked this year. Toronto, Baltimore and Tampa Bay have suddenly become the odds-on favorites to win the division, with the Yankees and Red Sox predicted as also-runs.
But Yankee Stadium will be full of fans who know better than to underestimate their home team. The Yankees are coming off a 95-win season. Derek Jeter, who's supposed to be getting older, posted a .315 average and enjoyed his best offensive year since 2009. And Robinson Cano, the best second baseman in the league, blasted 33 home runs and 94 RBIs, leading the Yankees in both categories. There's plenty to like about this year's squad.
But even if the Yankees didn't have all these weapons, Mariano Rivera announced that 2013 would be his final season. Yankee magic will be raining down this season as New York says goodbye to an all-time great. The ghosts of Yankee Stadium have been known to do things like that through the years.
CC Sabathia will once again anchor the Yankees rotation, but he'll have plenty of help. Both Phil Hughes and Hiroki Kuroda topped fifteen wins last season, and Rafael Soriano put up 42 saves in Rivera's absence last year.
This year the hardest part for New York Yankee fans might be seeing Kevin Youkilis in pinstripes. The long-time Red Sox infielder will be holding down the hot corner in Yankee Stadium in place of an injured Alex Rodriguez. Times have certainly changed.
Or maybe they haven't. The prognosticators would tell you that this in an off year for the Yankees. Don't bet on it. Buy those Yankees tickets online, pack into Yankee Stadium, and watch what promises to be a magical final season for the greatest closer in the history of baseball.

2012 New York Yankees preview

The Yankees will look to rebound from a successful but also disappointing season. Things started off great for the Yanks as they finished first in the AL East, after a Boston Red Sox collapse of epic proportions. But then as the 2011 MLB playoffs rolled around, a hot Tiger team stopped the favored Yankees in the AL division series in 5 games. The bad news was no World series but the good news was GM Brian Cashman's determination has become more fierce to keep the club in the MLB playoff hunt. in the 2012 off-season, the Yankees have already acquired the solid Japanese phenom Hiroki Kuroda, from the LA Dodgers, and will look to make even more deals in the Hot Stove league! Our prediction is that the Yankees will make another MLB playoff run. Check out a Full New York Yankees schedule and interactive seating chart at ABCtickets.com!

New York Yankees Tickets – Best of the Best
Yankees tickets have been the best of the best MLB tickets for years now. There isn’t an MLB fan in the nation that wouldn’t want to catch a game in Yankee Stadium, no matter how they feel about the New York Yankees. So when you start talking about Yankees tickets, the 2011 version has a lot to live up to. But 2011 New York Yankees tickets look to have the team to do it.
The New York Yankees were pretty much silent on the offseason, unlike previous years where they made a big splash. The feeling around Yankee Stadium seems to be that the organization is strong enough to make a World Series run with the current lineup. And who can blame them? Yankees tickets have delivered 16 postseason appearances in the last 17 seasons, a record unmatched in Major League Baseball. So Yankee fans get ready, you’ll be seeing plenty of familiar faces and as usual, your New York Yankees ticket will probably have you in Yankee Stadium long after most of the league’s fans are sitting at home.
Yankees Tickets Rebound in 2011
The only disappointment to last season was that the New York Yankees didn’t win a World Series. That’s unacceptable in New York. So when the 2011 season gets underway, the Yankees will be looking for some rebounding players to carry the load. Derek Jeter is one of them. The Yankees shortstop hit only 10 home runs last season and failed to break .300 at the plate for the first time in five years. A.J. Burnett is another players Yankees ticket holders need to step. A dominating pitcher in 2009, Burnett was a complete mystery in 2010.
Offensively, New York still carries an impressive lineup. Jeter is expected to bat leadoff, an indication of the team’s faith in his comeback. The #2 spot looks to be Robinson Cano, a .310 hitter last season with 29 home runs and 109 RBI. The middle of the batting order features Mark Teixeira, Alex Rodriguez, Nick Swisher, and probably Brett Gardner, the left fielder. Overall, a lineup that still inspires respect around the MLB.
Yankees Tickets Selection
Picking your New York Yankees tickets may be the toughest part of the season. Yankee Stadium is now the most amazing MLB stadium in the country and baseball fans will cross the country just to be there. In 2011 Yankees tickets will bring in the Texas Rangers, the Mets, the Tampa Bay Rays, and of course the annual battle with the Boston Red Sox. New York Yankees Baseball Ticket info

The New York Yankees are the cream of the crop and the perennial team to beat in the American League. Fans will once again be buying Yankees tickets expecting to see a field full of all-stars as they make yet another run at their ultimate goal, the World Series. Team manager Joe Torre once again leads his team as they are typically reloaded as they head into Spring Training.

With the most comprehensive history in baseball, the Yankees have won 26 World Championships and 39 American League pennants. Some of the greatest players of all time have played on the Yankees, including Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, and Mickey Mantle. Things have not changed much in the Bronx as far as the Yankees tradition of winning is concerned, as they have once again put together a strong team.

Leading the charge once again is team captain Derek Jeter. In the 10 years since Jeter’s arrival in New York, the Yankees have won 6 American League pennants and 4 World Series. Other Yankee mainstays include Mario Rivera, one of the best closers in baseball, and Jorge Posada, a rare offensively productive catcher. With a two hundred million dollar payroll, the Yankees have no shortage of all-stars. Alex Rodriguez, Gary Sheffield, Jason Giambi, Hideki Matsui, Mike Mussina, and Randy Johnson have all represented their teams in the All Star game. While veteran center fielder Bernie Williams remains with the team to finish out his career as a role player, the starting job as well as the leadoff spot will go to new teammate and former rival, Johnny Damon. Damon’s acquisition was a coup, as his signing with the Yankees came as a surprise considering he had been a mainstay with division rivals, the Boston Red Sox. Other free agent signings, Kyle Farnsworth and Octavio Dotel will join Rivera and Tanyon Sturtze to bolster the Yankees bullpen, making for an intimidating group backing up a starting staff of pitchers with many options. In addition to Johnson and Mussina, there will be five pitchers vying for three spots as Shawn Chacon, Chien-Ming Wang, Carl Pavano, Jaret Wright and Aaron Small all qualify and will be competing to make the starting rotation.

Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, known for being active with team operations as well as with his checkbook, is expecting nothing less than another post season run at the World Series. New York Yankees tickets will be in demand as the Bronx Bombers look to make good on those expectations, and earn themselves another championship.
