2014-15 Arizona Coyotes ticket preview

It’s a new era in the desert as the newly-dubbed Arizona Coyotes aim for a return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2012. After ditching Phoenix in their name, in favor of their home state’s association, the Coyotes will square off against Pacific Division rivals like the Anaheim Ducks, Vancouver Canucks, San  Jose Sharks and the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings. Arizona will also tackle all of the Western Conference’s best, as well as top teams from the East like the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers, along with an always-intriguing matchup in a look to the franchise’s past against the Winnipeg Jets. A visit to the Gila River Arena means you’ll be at the center of the action as the Arizona Coyotes fight to join the ranks of the NHL’s elite.

The Coyotes have some impressive firepower at forward, led by Martin Hanzal, Antoine Vermette and Mikkel Boedker and recent acquisitions Sam Gagner and Martin Erat only add to the talented crop. Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Brandon Gormley, Zbynek Michalek and Keith Yandle highlight a sturdy, young defense corps and Mike Smith has stabilized Arizona’s goaltending situation since joining the team as a free agent in the summer of 2011.

The Coyotes franchise was borne of the original Winnipeg Jets, who relocated to Phoenix in 1996. Amid the sweeping change of a new country, state, city, color scheme and overall identity, hockey in the desert got off to a fast start with four straight playoff appearances and five in the Coyotes’ first six seasons in their new home. Arizona was never able to advance past the Conference Quarterfinals, however, until 2012 when a stunning run was halted by the eventual Stanley Cup champion Kings, who ousted the Coyotes in five games in the Western Conference Final.

Get out of the heat and be a part of the new era in NHL hockey in the desert. Buy Arizona Coyotes tickets online to make sure you’re a part of the coolest game in town as the Coyotes develop into a contender. Don’t miss out! Get your Arizona Coyotes tickets now!

2013-14 Arizona Coyotes preview

Phoenix Coyotes tickets get a new start in the 2013-14 NHL season, meaning new owners and the calming effect of knowing that the team should remain in Arizona for the next few years. Once that was done the franchise was able to shake off the effects of a sub-par season and look to the future with some confidence. The team will be returning to Jobing.com Arena and so will the fans, who stayed solid with the Coyotes despite a narrow playoff miss. Coyotes tickets should dish out some payback for their loyalty with a solid team and a run at the post-season again in 2013.

Of course the Phoenix Coyotes are no different than any other NHL team. They’ve moved some pieces around in the last few months as they prepare for a full season of hockey. Gone are Chad and Nick Johnson, along with Alexandre Bolduc. But Phoenix also added some talent with Brandon Yip, Tim Kennedy, Thomas Greiss, and Mike Ribeirro. Yip and Kennedy should greatly improve the strength of the forward position in 2013 while Ribeirro is a big plus in the middle. The sum of the players should be greater as this looks like a good mix of talents that will complement each other when all the pieces are in place.
Of course Coyotes ticket holders like the idea of growing their own stars. They may just do that with 1st Round pick Max Domi, taken at the 12th spot in the draft. Keep your eyes on David Rundblad and Brandon Gormley to eventually make their way into hearts of Coyotes fans with their up and coming defensive play.
Phoenix Coyotes tickets will be barking in the Pacific Division and with teams like the Los Angeles Kings and the Edmonton Oilers around, Phoenix will be trying to emulate and eventually overcomes some long time stalwarts in the NHL. With a settled team that already has playoff experience and a long term home, it’s time to lock down your Phoenix Coyotes tickets, grab your popcorn, and settle in for some NHL action in the Jobing.com Arena. ABC Tickets has all the Coyotes tickets you could want and we’ll keep you in your seat through the playoffs and all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals.
