2014-15 Florida Panthers ticket info

Florida Panthers tickets are among the NHL’s quickest rising commodities, much in the same way that the Panthers as a team are moving toward league relevance and possibly a breakout performance in the upcoming 2014-15 season.

Wait. Florida Panthers tickets? Yes. Florida Panthers tickets.

The “Cardiac Cats” made some major moves this offseason, and as a result, they likely won’t be in the bottom third of the league when it comes to average secondary market ticket price. After all, with heightened expectations about the on-ice product going into the season comes a more than likely increase in desire among hockey fans to see them play in person.

General manager Dale Tallon wanted to change the culture of the franchise this offseason, which led to a busy summer for the Panthers’ front office. Tallon brought in F Jussi Jokinen, G Roberto Luongo, D Willie Mitchell, and F Shawn Thornton. He also drafted Aaron Ekblad with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the consensus top prospect on the board.

Not a bad offseason for a guy whose team has only qualified for the playoffs twice since the 1998-99 season. Tallon’s ability to convince free agents to sign in Sunrise, FL will no doubt pay dividends as the young team around them continues to mature.

BB&T Center seats 19,250 for Panthers games and over the last decade or so, many of those seats have remained empty. Tallon is banking on the 2014-15 version of his club being much, much different from iterations past. His willingness to bring in veteran players to mentor a young core was a gamble, but one he hopes will pay off.

Players like Aleksander Barkov, Nick Bjugstad, and Jonathan Huberdeau are poised to make the leap, which bodes well for fans set to buy Florida Panthers tickets this season. If Ekblad can make the roster out of training camp, the Panthers might have the league’s most exciting young core of players to watch this year. And if everything comes together like Tallon hopes it will, no longer will Florida be toiling away in obscurity on the fringes of the NHL map.

2013-14 Florida panthers ticket info

The Florida Panthers are one of the NHL’s most talent-challenged teams, but that’s not to say the fans in Sunrise, FL have nothing to look forward to in 2013. There is plenty to be hopeful about when it comes to the Cats. So without further ado, may we present “Why You Should Buy Florida Panthers tickets,” an essay in five parts:

Googling “cheap Florida Panthers tickets” is redundant
The Panthers finished last season with a 15-27-6 record (36 points), the worst in the NHL. Because of a dearth of NHL-ready talent—but a loaded farm system—Florida was unable to keep pace with the league’s elite teams, and it showed in terms of their record. Luckily for their fans, cheap tickets will be in great supply during the 2013-14 season.

If you don’t know Jonathan Huberdeau, you will
The former first-overall pick for the Panthers is only 20 years old but still recorded 31 points in 48 games played during the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season, all without a full NHL training camp to adequately prepare him for his first stint in professional hockey. Fans should look for him to continue his development in leaps and bounds this season.

There’s parity in the NHL
Despite the overall poor performance of the Panthers last season, the NHL is a league in which bottom-dwellers can rise to respectability in the span of a year or two. Advanced metrics related to league-wide team point projections indicate that the 2012-13 season could be the most tightly contested in history—or at least, since the inception of advanced stats. Florida is only two years removed from a division title and a playoff appearance, and has a Stanley Cup Finals berth (1997) to its credit. There’s no guarantee that the franchise returns to form this season, but past performance isn’t necessarily an indication that the same result is in store this year.

Ushers probably won’t stop you from relocating your seat
Buying a Florida Panthers ticket in the upper bowl is probably as good as buying a ticket on the glass. It’s a guarantee that there are plenty of empty seats, and the ushers probably won’t stop you from moving down. After all, more fans in the seats down low presents a more positive image on TV for Panthers home games.

Season tickets are as “all-inclusive” as it gets
This summer, the Panthers offered BB&T Center seats for $7 per game, a package that included season tickets, free parking, a free jersey, four free concerts at the arena and a $25 gift card. This is a real thing that actually happened. True story.

Florida Panthers Tickets

Florida Panthers tickets are the hottest thing in South Florida as the Cats look to take their place in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second consecutive season. The Florida Panthers will square off against the in-state rival Tampa Bay Lightning along with a full slate of other Eastern Conference foes as the playoff race heats up. The Florida Panthers will take on other Southeast Division rivals in the Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets, as well as top teams in the East such as the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers. A visit to the BB&T Center means you’ll be at the center of the action as the Florida Panthers fight to earn their keep among the NHL’s elite.
The Florida Panthers boast superstar rookie Jonathan Huberdeau up front, team captain and franchise legend Ed Jovanovski on the blueline and are entering a new era in goal with blue chip prospect Jacob Markstrom ready to take the reins.
Jovanovski was a big part of the 1995-96 Florida Panthers team that made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final before bowing out to the Colorado Avalanche in four games. After two more playoff appearances in the following four seasons, the Florida Panthers failed to qualify for the postseason for more than a decade. After Jovanovski headlined a host of free agent acquisitions by Florida Panthers’ management in the offseason, a remarkable run last season as Southeast Division champions ended in a first round loss to the New Jersey Devils.
The Florida Panthers were founded in 1993, joining the Tampa Bay Lightning to give the Sunshine State a pair of NHL franchises.
The Florida Panthers have played their home games at the BB&T Center since 1998, when it was known as the National Car Rental Center, after playing their first five seasons at the Miami Arena.

Florida Panthers team and ticket info

Welcome to sunny South Florida! The land of palm trees, white sandy beaches, summertime fun, and ice hockey. Ice hockey?!? You bet! It seem odd to go straight from the beach to the cool confines of the BankAtlantic Center or BB and T Center as it is now called to see the Florida Panthers take on some frozen team from the Great White North in a game of professional ice hockey, but there's nothing finer! You get the best of both worlds with Florida Panthers tickets: all the bone-chilling, icy fun of hockey, with none of the snow-shoveling and road salting to worry about. Just don't forget the suntan lotion!

The Star
With the trade for power forward Todd Bertuzzi in the offseason, the Panthers look to shore up their lackluster offensive showing last season. They also look to make themselves a little more notorious, as Bertuzzi is perhaps best known for his brutal fight with Steve Moore, which left Moore with three broken neck vertabrae. Bertuzzi was suspended for 20 games before he was allowed to play hockey again. He's looking to make a new start with the Panthers, and put the whole ugly incident behind him.

The Coach
Coach Jacques Martin finally won out in his feud with General Manager Mike Keenan, when Keenan was forced to resign. It was an ugly situation, but ultimately will prove to be the best thing for the team, which was struggling to function under the weight of its constantly fighting management. Martin is taking over as GM this season, and believes that a tight defense will be the Florida Panthers ticket to success. He's currently the only person in the NHL to hold the title of head coach and general manager.

The Team
Look for the Panthers to continue to focus on what they were successful at last year: defense. But with a little more offensive production, they just might reach the playoffs. It's certainly not a long shot for sunny South Florida to relive its glory days of 1996, when the Panthers treated their fans to Stanley Cup Finals tickets. With Ed Belfour and Alex Auld minding the net, the offense won't have to do all that much, since no one is going to score on the Panthers this year. This team has the potential to take it all the way, so get off that beach, and get into the BankAtlantic Center with Florida Panthers tickets!

Florida Panthers info

Florida Panthers tickets are offering the right mix for hockey fans: Exciting NHL action, the Office Depot Center, and a Florida Panthers squad that may now have the right mix of veterans and youth to challenge for a Stanley Cup. The Panthers spent their time off reaping a bounty of veteran talent. Center Joe Nieuwendyk and left wing Gary Roberts lead the list of new faces. Also add Martin Gelinas on the wing and centers Josef Stumpel and Chris Gratton, along with defenders Sean Hill and Eric Cairns, to the lineup of experienced players who will take to the ice of the Office Depot Center, trying to bring a Stanley Cup Championship to faithful Florida Panthers ticket holders.

The Panthers have established themselves as a successful, well-run franchise since their inception in 1993. Coming to Florida after the NHL extended its reach south, the Panthers launched a very respectable 33-34-17 inaugural campaign with their first win coming against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Oct. 9th, 1993. It was the best start for an expansion franchise in NHL history.

The 1995-96 season brought Florida their first playoff appearance. After finishing in 3rd place in the Southeast Division with a 41-31-10 season, the Panthers played on, locking up the first playoff series win in franchise history by ousting the Boston Bruins in the first round. The Philadelphia Flyers were next, and the Panthers dispatched the team from the City of Brotherly Love to reach the Eastern Conference Finals. It took seven games, but Florida hit the big time, advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals by knocking off the Pittsburgh Penguins. Unfortunately, history eluded the Panthers, as they lost the Finals in a four-game sweep to the Colorado Avalanche.

Florida Panthers tickets provided a Stanley Cup Finals seat in 1996. The 2005-2006 NHL season may provide the same gift, if the Panthers get some payback for their free agent gambles. The new faces added to the existing blend of goalkeeper Roberto Luongo and center Olli Jokinen give the Panthers the same type of chemistry they had in 1996. Playoff caliber hockey is coming back to the Office Depot Center. If you’re in the mood for great NHL action, Florida Panthers tickets look like a sure bet.
