Washington Wizards Tickets – Getting it Together

Washington Wizards 2014-15 ticket info

Washington Wizards tickets will be hot commodities this season and Verizon Center seats will be packed as the fans come out to support last year’s surprise team in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards went 44-38 during the regular season and upset the fourth-seeded Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs. They then battled the top-seeded Indiana Pacers tooth-and-nail in the Eastern Conference semifinals before ultimately falling in six hard-fought games.

Led by superstar point guard John Wall—fresh off an All-Star season and a max contract from the organization—the Wizards exceeded all expectations en route to their first postseason series win since 2005. Wall’s maturity running the point was evident last season, as he guided a young team through a regular season in which no one expected his team to make the playoffs.

Bradley Beal also showed tremendous growth last season, forming one of the Southeast Division’s most formidable backcourts alongside Wall. Beal improved his points per game, assists per game, and steals per game numbers over his 2012-13 averages, proving the Washington front office right in drafting him no. 3 overall two years ago.

Between Wall and Beal, there’s enough of a reason to buy Wizards tickets already. When you throw in a frontcourt of Marcin Gortat and Nene; the addition of veteran free-agent signing Paul Pierce; and a relatively weak Southeast Division this year, the reasons to buy Wizards tickets keep adding up.

Heightened expectations may factor into Washington’s performance this season, but there’s nothing to suggest Wall and Co. can’t handle them. And after tasting playoff success for the first time in almost a decade, the fans in D.C. are itching to see their hometown team make it back to the dance for the second consecutive year.

Now that LeBron James has left the division, there is no true powerhouse team left in the Southeast. The Wizards just might be the club that steps up and seizes the division for years to come. One thing’s for certain, though: buying Wizards tickets will allow fans the opportunity to see one of the NBA’s most electrifying players in Wall, and one of the most exciting teams in the Washington Wizards.

2014 Washington Wizards ticket info

Imagine Washington Wizards tickets when the whole team is together and healthy. That scenario could play out in the upcoming NBA season. Looking back, the Wizards had high hopes last year. But injuries to John Wall, Nene, and Bradley Beal spelled doom for Washington. The team got off to a miserable start and didn’t recover until the season was well underway. By that time Washington was mired in the back of the pack and out of playoff contention. The good part is that over the course of the latter part of the season Wizard tickets delivered a plus .55 performance and built hope for what could a bright future.

John wall is a point guard who can be counted on to run an offense with skill. Wall averages over 16 points a game and adds 8 assists to the package. That puts him in the company of NBA greats like Chris Paul and Magic Johnson. When he was healthy last year his numbers were even better. Beal was selected in the draft with a high pick and if he remains healthy he should justify the investment. Beal is a real problem for defense. He’s deadly from three-point range and if he’s on the court he can draw attention away from Wall and Nene. Speaking of Nene, the Washington Wizards will be happy to have him back again. Nene provides a steady veteran presence and double digit scoring while being one of the tougher players under goal.
